Privacy policy

Bannerito provides storefront banner tools for Shopify merchants. This policy explains the information we process to provide and secure the app, and the choices available to merchants and their customers.

Information we process

We process the merchant's Shopify shop domain and identifiers, installation status, app permissions, encrypted Shopify access and refresh credentials, subscription status, campaign content and settings, and limited security and operational records such as webhook delivery identifiers and error diagnostics.

Bannerito does not request protected customer-data scopes. Storefront delivery uses Shopify's signed app proxy. We do not sell personal information, build advertising profiles, or require third-party cookies for the embedded app.

How we use information

We use this information only to authenticate the merchant, deliver and manage campaigns, apply plan limits, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the service, meet legal obligations, and respond to support requests.

Service providers and international processing

We may use infrastructure providers for application hosting, database storage, content delivery, monitoring, and support. They process data for us under contractual and security obligations. Data can be processed in countries other than the merchant's own, subject to safeguards required by applicable law.

Retention and deletion

Shopify credentials are removed when the app is uninstalled. We retain other merchant data only for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve security or billing issues, and meet legal obligations. We process Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks, including shop and customer data requests and redactions. A shop redaction permanently removes the merchant tenant and its associated campaign data.

Security

We use transport encryption, encrypted Shopify credentials, scoped access controls, signed-request verification, and restricted operational access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we maintain safeguards appropriate to the information we process.

Your rights and requests

Depending on location, merchants and individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information. Shopify customers should normally contact the merchant whose store they used first. Merchants can contact us directly.
